saw Vince “Vappo” Pagliano perform his version of Jeff’s routine at Clown Camp ®
and have seen video clips of him performing it in circuses.
I think his version illustrates the problem with copying routines created
by others. The details that make the
original version so effective are lost.
Vince uses it as an opening bit.
He rushes out uses a leaf blower to shoot the toilet paper out over the
audience without any motivation. It
is just a short surprising bit that doesn’t make sense.
I feel it does not create any connection with the audience.
