Information For ClownsBruce was a senior columnist for Laugh-Makers Magazine, wrote and published The Clown In Times, and has had articles appear in many other publications including The Calliope, The New Calliope, Clowning Around, New Tops, White Tops, and Juggler's World. He is currently is a columnist for The Funny Paper and The Cross and the Clown. (He has had over 1000 articles published.) Many of his articles were selected for the Best Of Clowning Around. He was a contributor to Creative Clowning, edited by Bruce Fife. He is the author of Comedy Techniques For Entertainers and the Creativity For Entertainers trilogy. Known as a variety arts scholar, clown historian, and popular instructor, Bruce is the official World Clown Association Historian. He has taught at international clown conferences and festivals in England, Japan, Malaysia, Scotland, Singapore, and Sweden. His honors include University of Wisconsin Clown CampŠ Red Nose Philosopher. In addition to his articles that have appeared in print, during the past eight years he has written a free email newsletter titled the Thought For The Week. He has a second internet newsletter that is a companion to his Creativity For Entertainers trilogy.
