April 28, 2008 4-6 PM
Duchesnne
Academy,
Omaha, NE
You are a unique person with your own personality and
abilities. That makes you uniquely
qualified as a clown to do something better than anyone else.
Using specific examples from his own career, Bruce will share with you
some concepts that will enable you to come closer to your clown potential.
As your clown character and your performance material becomes an
expression of your true personality you will make stronger, deeper connections
with members of your audience. In
addition to learning general principles helping you become a more effective
entertainer, you will learn practical bits that you can add to your own
performances.

Magical Family Entertainment & There is Creativity in the Cards
April 29, 2008
Omaha, NE
During
this three-hour session, Bruce will share with you his approach to being a
family entertainer. He considers
this to be one of the most difficult entertainment specialties because of the
variety of audience members. To be a
successful family entertainer you have to gain and maintain the respect and
attention of adults and older children while at the same time keeping young
children engaged and interested.
Also during this session, Bruce will use some card effects to demonstrate how to
move from sleights to entertaining routines.
He will share with you how he has created some of his original routines
helping you learn tools and techniques that you can use to create your own
performance material. Bring a deck
of cards with you because Bruce will teach you hands-on the sleights that he
uses, including his original Charlie Count.
